This course focuses on deploying, configuring, and managing Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in Windows Server environments. Participants learn how to deploy domain controllers, move them between sites, manage FSMO roles, and create or modify Active Directory objects – including users, groups, organizational units, and computers, using both manual and bulk operations.

The course also covers Group Policy Object (GPO) configuration, implementation of password and security policies, delegation of permissions, protection of privileged accounts, and restricting NTLM authentication.

It helps participants prepare for the Microsoft Applied Skills – Administer Active Directory Domain Services in Windows Server and serves as a solid introduction to topics covered in the AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure exam.
