The course combines instructor-led training with online materials on the Microsoft Learn platform (https://docs.microsoft.com/learn). Students are encouraged to use the content on Learn as reference materials to reinforce what they learn in class. The content on Microsoft Learn also includes a module, “Explore use cases of Microsoft Copilot for Security”, that guides the learner through a series of simulation-based exercises that mimic real-world situations.

The primary focus of this course is to provide learners with the information they need to use Microsoft Copilot for Security in both the standalone and embedded experience. The course describes the features of Copilot and how to access and use those features. It is not intended to teach learners how to become an analyst.

The course also includes introductory level content on the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, and responsible AI. This content is included for the purpose of providing a basic and brief introduction to concepts and terminology.
